We use a few (PIR) Passive Infrared motion detectors and have had great results. PIR is affected by a heat signature not just by breaking the beam that (AIR) Active Infrared Motion detectors employ. If your team is looking to add a beneficial piece of equipment at an affordable price, PIR motion sensors are the way to go.
